B & H Engine Services Limited was purchased in 1985 by Graham Miller and his wife Lauren who operated the business as a partnership, servicing a very diverse range of motors.

Graham, after completing his apprenticeship, went on to become a qualified A Grade Automotive Machinist and has now clocked up 37 years experience in the industry. Over this time Graham has become “known” for his expertise in all fields but particularly with vintage cars and now draws work from all over the country and even from overseas! Among some of the recent vintage motors he has done are 4 ¼ litre Bentley, Austin Princess A135, 1939 Plymouth 6 cyl, 1939 Chrysler 6 cyl, Model A Ford, Model B Ford and 1949 Ford Mercury V8. So as you can see there is a wide variety.

As well as the vintage and classic motors that are worked on our friendly staff will also help you with your car/truck motor or your hotrod, stock car, jet ski, go kart, boat motor or even your lawnmower motor as no job is too big or too small.

We can source parts required and in some cases we manufacture “hard” to obtain parts.

B & H Engine Services Limited is a current member of the NZ Engine Reconditioners Association and as such has access to the data required to fix most motors in the current marketplace.

Our staff are well qualified in the engine reconditioning fields and in their private lives are all car enthusiasts enjoying restoring cars from current Japanese models to hot rods.
